    The government will introduce a bill making it illegal for judges to wear religious apparel Judges in the nation’s courts will be banned from wearing headscarves and other religious apparel under a proposal put forward by the government on Wednesday.

    The bill, which also stated that all judges would be required to wear robes, has the support of a vast majority in parliament, including the Social Democrats, the largest opposition party.

    DuPont, Danish firm to make ethanol that won't strain food supply DuPont executives said Wednesday that a new joint venture with a Danish company will enable the production of an alternative fuel that costs less than conventional ethanol and won’t drive up food prices.

    Danish Delegate Disputes OOXML Standard Vote By voting to adopt a standard based on Microsoft’s OOXML document format, the Danish national standards body has approved an unknown text against the wishes of the main representatives on its own technical committee, according to a technical committee representative from the Danish city of Aarhus. He has now made a formal complaint to Dansk Standard about the OOXML vote.
